Gratitude pots are about seeing people and their acts of kindness — whether it’s seeing a reflection in yourself or as an offering to someone that’s touched your day. It all started with a trip to South Africa and base camping at a lion reserve. Before this trip, I started thinking about the people making this possible: our hosts, guides, drivers, cooks, etc. During my trip, I gave these pots to people as a gesture of gratitude. That has become an ongoing tradition whenever I travel.
